Teaching & Learning
At St Thomas Aquinas, we believe that all students are unique and capable of being imaginative, creative and deeply engaged learners.
Our professional staff are committed to the development of the individual child academically, socially and spiritually. All teaching staff are qualified teachers and are employed by the Director of Catholic Education on behalf of the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn and are registered with the Teacher Quality Institute.
St Thomas Aquinas teachers have developed a style of teaching that incorporates the best features of guided inquiry. This self-directed and highly motivating approach to learning caters for individual differences and is also ideally suited to the talented and gifted students in our school. Our staff are skilled and actively seek to utilise teaching aids and technology to assist student development.
