Dear Families,
Welcome back to term 2, I hope you have had an enjoyable break and had time to spend with family and also enjoyed the warm weather that we have had these last few days of holidays.
Mrs Taylor is enjoying her time in the Holy lands and has spent this last week in Nazareth. This week she has spent some time floating in the Dead Sea and took a bus ride to the top of Mt Nebo, where God showed Moses the Promised Land and also where Moses died.
The lovely Mrs Gaynor, who volunteers in our Library, is also travelling with Mrs Taylor aswell as other Principals and Catholic Education Office staff. We know they are both enjoying themselves, learning alot and will have wonderful stories to share when they return.
Mrs Taylor will be away weeks 1 & 2 and will return to school at the start of week 3.
You will notice that we have had significant works completed over the holiday period. The second stage of our shade structure at the back of the hall has been installed, the carpark and driveway at the front of the school and Drive Thru have been resealed and the giant potholes have FINALLY gone! Inside the school, all classrooms, the Art room and the Library have had new Autex (fluffy walls) installed, new whiteboards installed and painting has been completed to freshen up and improve our learning spaces. The rooms look fantastic.
Please keep up to date with upcoming events through the Newsletter and Facebook as we have a very busy start to Term 2 with multiple events Happening in the first 3 weeks including ANZAC Day Prayer Celebration, Cross Country and Muffins with Mum.
We look forward to a busy but fun and rewarding Term ahead.
Enjoy your week.
Acting Principal

Please keep returning library books each week. Students can return books any day, it does not have to be their library lesson day. It’s so important to keep our books circulating through our borrowers. We currently have 320 overdue books.
Lots of students have completed the Chief Minister’s Reading Challenge. We still have plenty of time to get more entries in to win book prizes for STA. Every student who hands in a completed Reading Challenge form receives a pick from the prize box.
Happy reading!
