Dear Families,
I would like to begin by letting families know that Mrs Bronwyn Newth will be taking a short break from the ELC to work with ACECQA with their assessment and rating team. This is a great opportunity for Bronwyn, the ELC and Catholic Education. We wish Mrs Newth all the best. Mrs Carla Drayton will be stepping up during this time to support Maribel in the Directors role and will move into Mrs Newth’s room. A full-time teacher will be recruited to be in the full-time room. Mrs Michelle Woodward from the Catholic Education Office will also join us for most of Term 2 to support the centre.
The fete is nearly here. The staffroom is filled with gift baskets and tombola’s and the space is looking very festive. Thank you once again to all of the volunteers who have helped and those who have signed up to help on the day. It is the community of parents and families who will make this a success. I look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
Athletics Carnival
The Athletics carnival will be held on Wednesday 5th April. I thank Mrs Megan Thomas for her organisation of this so far and those who have already volunteered for this event. Once again, the SCC will put on a sausage sizzle for students including students in the ELC.
Prayer celebrations
This term we start to see a return to our prayer celebrations and are able to invite families to join us. It will be wonderful to see parents and carers join us again to participate in these liturgies as we prepare for Easter.
See you Saturday!
Take care and God bless
Yours in Faith
Principal
