Religious Education
Religious Education at St Thomas Aquinas
In Kindergarten this term we are looking at the bible as a source of stories about God’s relationship with people over time. We are particularly learning about the Creation Story and Abraham and Sarah. We love learning the stories from both the Old and New Testaments and would love to look at some with our families at home!

Pentecost
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8
You might have noticed our prayer focus at the front of the school has turned red. This is to celebrate the Feast of Pentecost that was on Sunday. We remember the Holy Spirit came to the disciples at Pentecost and gave them gifts to help them spread the Word of God. We pray that the Holy Spirit similarly gifts us to share the message of God’s love.

Confirmation - Formation Session for Parents and children.
Thursday 23 May—6:00pm—Parish Church
This Thursday we have our second Formation session for the candidates preparing for Confirmation next month. Families are asked to have completed the first and second parts of the preparation guide and bring the book along to the session so we can explore part 3 together. Please bring something to write with as well.
Please note sponsors are encouraged to attend the formation sessions but if they are not available a parent is all that is required to accompany the candidates. Formation sessions are an essential element of the preparation program and are where you will be provided with the preparation booklet, presentation mass prayer cards and other support materials as well as engaging in the formation activities each session.
