Book Week Parade
Our Book Week Parade is on 25^th August at 10 am in the school hall. Please don't think you need to buy a costume. Dressing up as a book character should be fun! Using items from around the home to create a book character costume, for example a stripy top, jeans, some glasses and a beanie makes a great Where's Wally!

Kate and Jol Temple Author Visit
We are excited to welcome authors Kate and Jol Temple to STA on 31^st August. A book order form was sent home to families on Monday. This is optional of course. If the order form is completed by the Tuesday before the visit Kate and Jol will sign the books for the students. More info to come.

Overdue Library Books
Overdue notices were handed out on Friday. Please return your overdue library books to the library. It doesn't have to be your library day to return books. We really want to get into the routine of borrowing, reading and returning our library books so lots of students can borrow and read  the books.
