Medical Welfare of Students Policy 2022

- If you have notified the school that your child has a medical condition, that teachers and other relevant staff need to be aware of, please note that you will be requested to complete additional forms. All our medical forms can be otbtained from our Website under Communication/Medical Forms here.
As per Section 5 of CE's Medical Welfare of Students Policy, a current individual health care plan, approved by a qualified medical practitioner, must be developed for any student:
- diagnosed with severe asthma, type 1 diabetes, epilepsy or anaphylaxis;
- diagnosed as being at risk of an emergency, or
- who requires ongoing administration of health care procedures.
- Any medication that is provided to the school must have an expiry date of 2023, however we do understand that some medications have a short expiry date.
